Antalis adds Adobe workshops to Digital Academy offering

With over 20 different workshops to choose from, Antalis is fast becoming the market leader for training in applications, products and technology via its Digital Academy.

This month sees the start of the Adobe series of workshops at the Academy, offering delegates the opportunity to learn how to make the most of creative print design solutions, starting with the Adobe Foundation Workshop on Monday 24th October 2016. This will then be followed by specific workshops on Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign software.

The foundation workshop will cover best practice, shortcuts, timesavers and general workflows using Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Bridge and Acrobat. By taking part in a hands-on workshop, delegates will acquire techniques to be able to work more efficiently when using these industry-leading Adobe products.

Tutoring the workshop is certified Adobe Design Master and Instructor, Martin Perhiniak, who was voted one of the world’s top 10 Adobe instructors last year. Alongside technical knowledge, Martin will also teach attendees about design principles and compositional techniques, as well as sharing plenty of best practice hints and tips that he has picked up and developed while working as a designer and retoucher on various projects, including Pixar’s Cars and Toy Story films, BBC’s Dr Who and Mattel’s Team Hot Wheels.

Commenting on this new development, Antalis’ Digital Support Manager, Giles Bristow, said: “We are delighted to expand our workshops into this new area which we feel will be of great benefit to our customers, many of which will have in-house graphic designers. As with all our workshops, we are working with a tutor who is quite clearly a leader in his field and can offer a competitive advantage to our delegates.”
