Competition is hotting up

Nominations have so far been received for products from Soyang, Spandex, 3M, Innova, Amari, Mimaki, Epson, Ricoh, APA, Eurobond, Zeta Specialist Lighting and SNAPFIX.

The products range from large format and garment printing machines, through innovative new films and signmaking materials, to creative sign lighting solutions and clever gizmos.

The category will be judged by a panel of signmakers representing the complete industry spectrum, from small businesses to some of the biggest.

The short-listed products and the overall winner will be announced at the BSGA’s Gala Awards event which is being staged at the Holte Suite at Villa Park in Birmingham on October 30th.

“The nominations to date demonstrate that the sign industry remains a hotbed of ingenuity and technological progress,” said David Catanach, Director of the BSGA.  “However, we’re sure that the these are only the tip of the iceberg and we welcome entries from any business  that offers a innovative product or service to the industry.”

Final closing date for entries is Monday, September 22nd.   Full details and the Product of the Year entry form can be found on the awards website at britishsignawards.org.
