Great day for the sign industry

“We are absolutely delighted with the result,” said Association President David Dyke.  “The awards scheme has proved to be an unqualified success and the event in Birmingham was a triumph.

“The feedback from everyone who attended has been entirely positive and it was great to see over 320 people from our industry gathered together in such a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere.

“We launched the awards because we felt that our industry, which is unique because it combines creativity and craftsmanship with cutting-edge technological, manufacturing and engineering skills, deserved an awards scheme with real meaning and value.

“The support we received from the sponsors was fantastic, and our thanks go to them for making the whole event possible. The response from the industry in terms of entries was also remarkable.  In every way, the first Awards scheme met our aims and we believe we have started something that will become an intrinsic part of the sign industry calendar.

“Our congratulations to all the winners and commiserations to those who came close.  However, they shouldn’t give up because the Awards will be back next year and we intend it to be bigger and better. “
