Raft of Wins for Signs Express

Owners of Signs Express (Sheffield), Steve and Carol Morris, were recognised alongside their team by being awarded the Best Interior Sign Award for the work that they completed for Sheffield’s Children’s Hospital Eye Department. Working with the Children’s Hospital charity, Artfelt, the team completely restyled the department and made it much more child-friendly using colourful wall graphics designed by a local artist, Nick Deakin, depicting a handful of characters that play on the walls, ceilings and doors throughout the eye department. The project has been so well received by the public and so successful with the hospital staff that Signs Express (Sheffield) is continuing to work through other departments.

Mark Meadowcroft, owner of Signs Express (Northampton) and his highly-qualified vehicle wrapper, Brandon Desborough, were up against stiff competition in the personal vehicle graphics category but won with their Nissan Le Mans vehicle wrap. The impressive job transformed the racing car from a plain red vehicle into a bright blue head turner using Manchester City branding for a short term promotional campaign.

Projects such as these show the commitment and talent of the Signs Express network and reflect the work that is being done around the UK and Ireland by the network’s 62 centres. Massive congratulations to the teams at both Sheffield and Northampton, who have worked tirelessly in the local communities and completed numerous impressive jobs around the region.

These wins follow another impressive win from Signs Express (Manchester), as owner Lee Eaton won two accolades at the BFA Awards earlier this month, B2B Franchisee of the Year and Overall National Franchisee of the Year Award. These four wins are the cherry on top of the cake for Signs Express in 2015 with the welcoming of new staff members, new franchisees and the ushering in of a new vision for growth in the coming years.
