Spandex launches a new collection of ImagePerfect™ magnetic materials

The new ImagePerfect™ range comprises three products:

  • IP 2922 Magnetic Film Premium
  • IP 2923 Magnetic Film Premium Heavy
  • IP 2924 Ferro Film

Central to the appeal of this new ImagePerfect collection is the versatility of magnetic substrates to produce reusable and sustainable sign and display solutions that significantly reduce lifecycle cost compared with conventional signage products. Finished magnetic graphics can be transported to the client site in cardboard tubes, then simply rolled out and applied by in-store personnel, removing the complexity, delays and cost of professional installation, and allowing for rapid changes to displays and promotional messaging.

IP 2922 Magnetic Film Premium (300 micron) and IP 2923 Magnetic Film Premium Heavy (500 micron) give customers a choice of material thicknesses for standard or heavier duty requirements. Both products have a white matt surface enabling photo-quality printing, and are optimised for use on large-format digital inkjet printers with a range of solvent, eco-solvent and UV-cured inks.

Spandex - InsideLift Magnetic PosterBoth films can be applied to almost any steel-based surface, enabling graphics producers to create easy-to-apply graphics and visual merchandising materials that can be quickly and cost-effectively refreshed as promotions, campaigns or decorative themes change.

IP 2924 Ferro Film is a white ferrous print media coated with micro-iron particles to create a strong magnetic attraction. A thin, smooth, flexible and printable option, IP 2924 is particularly suited for use in point of sale and point of purchase signage systems.

M517 completes the new collection as a match-component, high quality, self-adhesive magnetic sheet for use with IP 2924 Ferro Film. With a brown top layer and UV-hardened under-coating, the flexible sheets can be overlaid to almost any material to create a strong and effective magnetic surface.

The entire collection of ImagePerfect magnetic products can be score cut or contour cut, either manually or with a CAD/CAM plotter. This enables users to create custom shapes, and makes the materials suitable for cut-to-size applications such as fridge magnets and shelf-edge markings and displays.

“Signmakers and graphics producers are always looking for products that will give them new creative capabilities while also delivering cost-efficient solutions for their clients,” explains Steve Jacques, ImagePerfect Category Manager at Spandex. “The launch of our new magnetics collection allows Spandex customers to respond to the evolving demands of their clients for flexible, premium quality signage and visual merchandising that can be easily updated in the shortest possible timeframe.”
