Graphisign UK Ltd
Graphisign UK Ltd was recently described by a new client as ‘one of the signage industries best kept secrets’. The company, formed by Managing Director Alan Tupman in 1992 has provided quality signage for a number of loyal customers for many years and recently decided it was time to ‘spread the word’.
The company built their reputation in the grocery sector, but now also supply the retail, construction, housing, leisure, heritage and corporate sectors. All manufacturing processes are carried out in-house and the company have an excellent design facility. Alan is a people person and believes his current management team and employees are ‘the best he has ever worked with’. Alan is also a firm believer in employing local labour and talks with the Oldham College, to set up a sign making ‘academy’ are at an advanced stage.
Having quickly outgrown their modern factory in Oldham, Greater Manchester the search is now on for larger premises to increase capacity and service the increasing number of new clients won by a recently formed but highly effective business development team.
The Sign Industry is, in Alan’s words, ‘protective and insular’ and he would like nothing more than to dispel the cloak and dagger myth that surrounds it. He is however confident about one thing; ‘Graphisign won’t be the signage industries best kept secret for very long, watch this space!’
