Mödel Signage Solutions was started in October 2006 and is based in Ipswich. The company supplies to a nationwide customer base with both commercial and public sector clients. The company is run by Will Farr (Managing Director) and Mike Pratt (Finance Director) both of whom have worked in the signage industry for many years.

The company now has 18 staff and is growing rapidly. It has a wealth of facilities in its 7,000 sq ft factory including powder coating, digital print and tactile and Braille. The company is already looking to acquire an additional 15,000 sq ft of production space due to its expansion.

The main focus of the company has been on Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) compliant signage and signage systems. However, this has lead the company to develop and provide a wider range of products to a number of large clients across the UK who have been implementing wayfinding strategies. This has included a thriving trade business supplying tactile and Braille signage to companies in the UK and Europe.
