Nationwide Access are the first powered access company to join the BSGA as an Associate Member. Commenting on the company’s application, Peter Douglas, Commercial Director of Nationwide Access, said, “We joined because signage, which is a vital and distinct business sector that we have long served, is an area where we wanted greater exposure and wider contact within the industry.”
Peter also explained that John Tominay, who has a long record of dealing with the sign industry, was recently appointed to the new post of Signage Business Sector Manager as part of the company’s drive to improve its service to the sign industry. John himself added, “I’m pleased to be responsible for a sector that has long been my passion and I wanted to join the BSGA because I knew it was the right forum for us to showcase the work we’d been undertaking.”
Nationwide Access, by listening to and understanding their customer’s needs, has developed a range of sector specific accessories; including PowerProps and PowerSign. These were design in conjunction with sign industry customers and have helped maximize productivity and improve safety. Safety and productivity are key drivers in the development programme at Nationwide Access as are the company’s IPAF accredited training courses for managers and operatives.
