Sign 2000 was established by its current directors Murray Crompton and Neil Scott back in 1988. Over the past 20 years the company has become a multi disciplined manufacturing company offering its clients a full range of services with a strong emphasis on project management excellence and quality manufacture and installation.
With a turnover of £5 million this year and a staff of 45 people the company has rubber stamped it credentials over the years with an “Investors in people” award and ISO 9001 2000 accreditation.
Environmental issues now figure highly in the company’s plans and with a forthcoming move to a new 22,000 sq feet factory in the New Year the company plans to take the opportunity to improve its carbon footprint and achieve its ultimate goal of recognition under ISO 140001.
With Major Projects this year for clients including Morrison’s Supermarkets, Whitbread’s, Harvey Nichols and many other well known names there is a very optimistic outlook in the business despite the current economic gloom all around us.
Murray Crompton says “I feel that the time now is right for us to join our industry Association and lend our support to the efforts being made for the future well being of the sign industry”.
