Dec 2004
Business Benefits Increase…
But Subs Stay the Same

December heralds the end of one year and leads into the start of another when member subscriptions to the Association fall due. The good news is that the Association’s President and Council have agreed that subscriptions for 2005 will not be increased due, partly, to the increase in member numbers during 2004 and the economies the Association continues to make in its operating costs.

In holding the subscription fees, together with the increase in number of benefits being made available to members, this means that membership of the Association is a highly cost effective option for sign makers and suppliers in the United Kingdom. The Association continually seeks improvements in its services and would welcome feedback from members regarding additional initiatives. Throughout the rest of this Newsletter we have sought to highlight many of the benefits which can, in some cases, actually save you the cost of your subscription fee.

In our industry cash flow is second only to profit. A well managed cash flow can have a major impact on any business and we are aware that paying your subscription to the Association at the beginning of each calendar year may have a detrimental impact. With this in mind, for 2005, we are introducing the option of Standing Order payments which will be available to members without additional charge or administration fee.

Full details will be included in the information which will be sent out to all members at the end of this year.
