Bon Courage from The ESF
The European Sign Federation (ESF) is the organisation that represents the whole of the sign industry in Europe. Its members consist of representatives from national sign associations from individual countries. The BSGA represents the UK.

The Sign Industrys biggest party ever
Over 400 guests attended the sixth Sign Industry Awards, held in the Eon Lounge at the Ricoh Arena, Coventry, making it the biggest night event in the history of the awards.

New Awarding Body for Signmaking NVQ
At the end of May 2008 the Association were advised that Cogent, the Sector Skills Council for our industry, had entered negotiations with PAA\VQ-SET to sell the awarding rights for the qualifications owned by SASL.

Signs Express welcomes NASA to Norwich
After completing their mission to the International Space Station earlier in the year, the crew of the Space Shuttle Discovery embarked on their next trip - a visit to the UK! The twin aims of the visit were to inspire young minds and highlight the need for a technically educated work force.

NVQ Conference 2008
This years BSGA NVQ Conference took place at the end of June when Walsall College played host to colleagues from around the country.

The Sign Show
This was a new date on the signmakers calendar and as such, was the subject of much discussion and debate within the industry in the months running up to the event which took place at the Ricoh Arena from 2nd to 4th September.
