A league of their own
Signs Express (Harlow) has been working in partnership with Non League News 24 (NLN24) to promote the launch of a new website and magazine devoted entirely to the trials and tribulations of non-league football.
As a departure from traditional advertising methods, NLN24 and the design staff at Signs Express (Harlow) decided to maximise the impact vehicle graphics can have. NLN24 staff drive the length and breadth of the country to promote and gather the latest news for the venture, so it made perfect sense to design an eyecatching vehicle livery to help publicise its new business!
Upon taking delivery of a new Toyota Aygo, Signs Express applied digitally printed graphics that it designed in-house. This included printing and applying contra vision vinyl to the rear windscreen, thus increasing advertising space without affecting driver visibility. Billy Shaw, NLN24’s Website Editor reported that sales of the magazine increased by around 35 percent in the month after the car first went on the road, thus proving the effectiveness of the moving message board!
