Members approve new rules
33rd Annual General Meeting
In addition to the routine business at the recent Association AGM, Members approved the adoption of a revised set of Articles of Association.
These were developed by the Director and members of the BSGA board, following an extensive review of the Association’s structures and procedures.
Key changes include the addition of two new membership categories allowing, for the first time, a category for Sign Specifiers, which will provide all those involved in the buying, procurement and specification of signs and signage schemes with the opportunity to have a say in the industry as well as access the member benefits.
The criteria for Affiliate Membership has also been redefined, allowing smaller companies the option to remain in this category, with the aim of encouraging continued participation from a broader cross-section of the industry.
The meeting also saw Craig Brown of Signs Express Ltd, re-elected as Vice President. We wish him well for his second term of office.
