Brilliant graphics from 3M

The range of digital printing films from 3M has been further extended with the introduction of 3M Scotchcal Series IJ 25. Developed specifically for use on designated piezo inkjet printer platforms, this 0.10mm calendered monomeric pvc film is suitable for a broad range of short- to medium-life sign and graphics applications involving flat surfaces, such as glass, metal, rigid plastics and painted surfaces and has a two year durability.

A powerful pressure-sensitive acrylic adhesive facilitates excellent adhesion capabilities, even at high ink laydown, without compromising the film’s easy future removal. The grey pigmented adhesive also demonstrates an outstanding ‘no show through’ capability, even when graphics are superimposed over existing imagery.

The film imparts excellent image clarity and durability when used in conjunction with most of the market-leading piezo inkjet printer platforms using UV, solvent, mild-solvent and eco-solvent ink formulations.

Scotchcal IJ 25can be used without lamination in both interior and exterior locations, typically for short-term advertising and graphics promotions and is available in white/gloss and white/matte formats
