…Top business award for Harrisons Signs

Centenary celebrations at Harrisons Signs got off to a great start when the company scooped the Family Business of the Year award at the recent Press Business Awards ceremony. The glittering event organised by The Press newspaper was held at York Racecourse on 13th November.

After receiving the Award, which was sponsored by Garbutt & Elliott, Business Director, June Robinson said, ‘this makes a fantastic start to our centenary year.’

Harrisons Signs may be approaching their 100th Birthday, but the company has continued to evolve in line with changing customer requirements and is now an all-round visual communications specialist. Yet at heart it’s still a family business, Sales Director, Richard Hunter together with cousins David, Michael and Peter Robinson are all fourth generation family members currently working in the company.
