Innotech commits to fast-growing SignLink Live as debut event edges closer

BSGA Member Innotech has been revealed as the latest key brand that will exhibit at the inaugural edition of SignLink Live this year.

The confirmation comes just over one month before doors are due to open at the International Centre in Telford to welcome visitors to the three-day, which runs from October 11th to 13th.

SignLink Live 2017, taking place alongside sister event the Print Show, will welcome a wide selection of companies after organisers pledged to deliver an event that focuses solely on the UK sign-making market.

Kieran Dallow, marketing manager at Innotech, has praised this approach and says this way of thinking was one of the main reasons behind the company’s decision to throw its full backing behind the new event.

“The Print Show and SignLink Live are certainly the fastest growing shows year on year, and we feel that this is going to become the main meeting point for all print and signage industry professionals going forward,” Dallow said. “We’ve decided to exhibit because we have a selection of new display products and media ranges that we’re planning to launch officially onto the market at the show.

“We’re treating this show as an opportunity to meet new and existing customers, and to launch some new print media ranges which include a new range of self-adhesive vinyls and printable magnetic media.”

Dallow goes on to say that such is the importance and relevance of SignLink Live, it is an event that members of the UK sign-making industry cannot afford to miss.

“With the amount of effort that’s being put into the run up to the event, I think any industry professional could really miss out if they didn’t attend,” Dallow said.  Things move fast in our industry, and I would encourage anyone that’s trying to keep up with the latest developments, to come along to the show.

“I think SignLink Live will become more and more important over the years, as it brings together every sector of the print and sign making industry to one location.

“There will be no better place for exhibitors to launch new products to the industry, and that’s why I think we’re going to see more significant launches happening here going forward.”

Setting the standard

Meanwhile, NovaDura has revealed that it will use its appearance at SignLink Live this year to promote its anti-vandal and anti-graffiti photoluminescent signage, which it says is the only products of their kind to meet strict requirements of a number of major transport bodies.

The sign products have secured approval from Transport For London/London Underground and are also compliant with S1085: Issue A4: 2016 for Fire Safety Performance of Materials in Rail Stations and Tunnels Infrastructure.

NovaDura says this makes the solutions suitable for use in underground stations and will help to evacuate passengers under emergency conditions.

Gary Bradley, commercial director at NovaDura, says: “NovaDura has set the industry standard for 10-year warrantied for colour and atmospheric degradation—100 percent recyclable anti-graffiti signage.”

Visitors will also be able to find out more about NovaDura ‘s fully recyclable and environmentally friendly signage solutions that come with 10-year warranty for colour/atmospheric degradation and anti-vandal or anti-graffiti properties

Bradley adds: “Since we launched in 2014, specifiers and architects have now recognised the primaDURA, ecoDURA and reproDURA brands and are now issuing tenders for the same.

“Whilst we have been heavily involved in the heritage and museums sectors with our range of aluminium and high pressure laminates (HPL’s), finally after many years of research, development and testing we have now launched the only anti-vandal and anti-graffiti photoluminescent signage, primaDURA GLOW.”

NovaDura will share a stand with Innova Solutions at SignLink Live, and the latter is set to show off a selection of specialist tape and adhesive solutions, such as pre-powder coat metal bonding and low surface energy bonding.

Spencer Kelly, sales director at Innova, says: “We have worked in partnership with the industry’s leading sign makers and materials manufacturers for the past 15 years, and will be showcasing an innovative range of new technologies and product developments that continue to make life easier for our partners, whilst meeting the ever present demands of performance, aesthetics and eco friendliness.”

Elsewhere, Automatic Letter Bender has set a target of winning new customers and business at SignLink Live 2017. As its name may suggest, Automatic Letter Bender specialises in channel letter bending and is able to offer various technologies to the market.

At SignLink Live 2017, the company will be showing its ALB-02 COMBO 160, a machine that offers two systems for bending through two interchangeable heads. The first bending head is the roller head, while the second is the patting system.

Also set to feature on the Automatic Letter Bender in October is the ALB-04 UNI 180, which features an industrial knife for stainless steel work and cutting for aluminium materials.

Karolina Mieszko, sales manager at Automatic Letter Bender, which has its UK branch in Birmingham, said: “We know that in UK a lot of companies need our bending machines. At SignLink Live, we hope to meet new customers that are looking for machines, tapes, glues and hand tools for 3D letter bending.

“Our team of specialised technicians and sales representatives will be available to help in choosing the right device. We would also like to show how it is simple to use these machines and create professional letters.”
