The Bournemouth centre of the market-leading signs and graphics brand, Signs Express, has raised over £3.5k for Bournemouth Hospital Charity after organising an endurance karting challenge at South Coast Karting.
10 teams competed in the endurance event, which saw Laceys Legends (a team from Laceys Solicitors), crowned winners after completing 237 laps in a staggering two hour race time. The team were fastest on 156 of the laps although the overall fastest lap went to team Signs Express in a lap time of 27.9 seconds!
All proceeds from the event, including the entry fees, were donated to Bournemouth Hospital Charity and participants warmed up after the event with refreshments and presentations at Bournemouth Social Club.
Signs Express (Bournemouth & Poole) centre owner, Richard Morris said, “I have been working with South Coast Karting since it opened a year ago, providing all of their signage, and thought it would be an excellent location for a business networking and charity fundraising event. It was great fun but also a valuable opportunity for local businesses in the area to get together and raise some much-needed funds for charity. Well done to the team from Laceys Solicitors, unfortunately we couldn’t match their pace! I’m already looking forward to our next event, which I hope will raise even more valuable funds for Bournemouth Hospital Charity.”
South Coast Karting has used Signs Express to help provide prominent advertising hoardings around the track, which is a cost effective and efficient advertising tool for local businesses in the area. The Bournemouth based sign makers provide a wide range of signs and graphics including interior and exterior signs and vehicle graphics, covering areas in and around Bournemouth and Poole.
