Spandex Celebrates the Success of its Innovation Days

Spandex, the one-stop supplier of innovative solutions to the digital printing and sign making industries, welcomed hundreds of visitors during a two-day Open House event at its premises in Bristol on 6th and 7th December 2017.
The Open House event engaged new and existing customers with innovative ideas for business growth as well as showcasing trends in a variety of applications.
Feedback from customers demonstrated the benefits they got from attending.
Harry Milne, Vehicle Wrapper from Basildon-based SignStop comments: “I thoroughly enjoyed my visit. The Spandex team put on a very good show. I really appreciated the car wrap demonstrations and the new wrap materials on show.”
David Greenaway, Owner at Wrap Creations adds: “The open house really helped us in making a decision on the direction of our business. I was really impressed with the technology and demonstrations on display as well as Spandex’s helpful team.”
Hardware Demonstrations
Visitors to the Open House got to experience demonstrations of a wide range of printing technologies from HP, Roland, Epson and Sawgrass. The UK debut of swissQprint’s Impala LED UV flatbed printer impressed many visitors along with swissQprint’s new fully automated robotic loading and unloading system – ROB the Robot.
The demonstrations also offered visitors the chance to speak with equipment suppliers and Spandex experts. Visitors could also take advantage of excellent hardware promotions, many of which were taken up over the two days.
Hands-on Applications
There was a wide variety of hands-on demonstrations over the two days including vehicle wrapping, interior décor, wall coverings and textile applications, which meant that visitors could try new skills first-hand. Visitors could apply the latest films including the printable self-adhesive ImagePerfectT 2324 textile wallpaper, ImagePerfectT 5700 range with PerfectApplyT adhesive, 3M Di-Noc architectural finishes as well as the latest vehicle wrapping materials.
Leon Watson, Spandex UK General Manager concludes: “I’d like to thank all of our customers and suppliers for making the Spandex Innovation Days so successful.
